Great Food and great people. They are a little tight on space and had to turn away several customers. We did not see that there was an up-charge for a biscuit vs. toast on menu choices that seemed to indicate that it was a no charge either or choice. No biggie!

What a great place to have breakfast. They serve fresh sausage that is to die for, the waffles are terrific and the bacon,egg and cheese sandwich just seemed so much better then the same old waffle house. The only bad thing about this dinner is that they aren't located in Savannah where i live.

D's friendly diner is one of those places where the restuarant if filled with wonderful simple well made food, long conversations, and life. Go there for the food, stay for the conversations and good times.

D's is a Big 5.0 on the rating scale!! Our daughter goes to GA Southern and we were visiting from Grayson, GA. One of the BEST diners I have ever been to. Excellent food, service, prices and portions. You must try this place!!!

BEST BREAKFAST AROUND.. Bodhi Roberts has no clue what he is talking about. The thing is the ranch was actually butter in a small packet, he could not tell the difference. However we at Franklin Toyota will always choose D's regardless of how much ranch they have.

Just like the name suggests, the staff is very friendly. As we ate, we saw regulars come in and joyfully greet the waitress and cooks. The food was also really good. Nothing fancy but yummy and filling. We are glad we found this nice, unassuming diner!

Had a fantastic burger on Sunday....so good I went back Monday morning for breakfast! Service was fast and everybody was really friendly. Everything we had was really good! I'll be back on my next trip to Statesboro....

I went to D's Friendly Diner for the first time today. A friend of mine told me about their omelets so I decided to try one. I ordered the veggie lovers and it was one of the best omelets I've ever had. It was packed with so many delicious vegetables and even had the perfect amount of cheese. This is definitely the establishment for omelets in Statesboro!

Good food but slow service. They did apologize and explained that they were short staffed. Worth another try.

Good, simple, homemade food that will fill you up for cheap. There's no frills here, and that's just fine! It's a little out of the way and I had never noticed it before, but I'm glad it caught my eye because it's just like what Grandma used to make on weekend visits! Definitely worth a stop in.

Walking in you just feel the friendly from there name draping over every inch of the place. I even spotted customers praying before they ate. The staff was delightful, diligent, and fast in every aspect from ordering to delivery. My server Courtney was extremely pleasent as well as prompt with even the refills of coffee. The menu was easy to navigate and understand with several choices from breakfast to dinner. The food itself was excellent including cook to specific orders. The portions we're on point, filling but not wasteful. I will definitely be returning to this very special place.

No chicken available. No onion rings available. Had to settle for a double cheeseburger & hashbrowns. Got back to my office to eat my food & my burger is burnt, like crispy, black burnt & the hasbrowns are soggy. Never again.

As a breakfast lover I can say that this place is okay! It's definitely small town diner food. I did enjoy excellent customer service but would probably have to try something else there to give a more honest review.
